Hello, I am Christiane Gerges. I currently study at the University for the Creative Arts, third year. I plan on continuing with higher education, an MA degree. During this period I hope to broaden my software use and direct my developing interests towards a certain specialised area of design. At the moment my main interests that I would like to explore is expressing the outdoors into the indoors, allowing people to enjoy their outdoors, whilst being indoors. As well as this interest of nature, I really want to focus my interests on disabilities and how I can make the lives of those with disabilities easier. I hope to combine and incorporate what I have learnt this year into my MA degree. Once I have completed my degree I plan to do a short placement over the summer to make up for the current circumstances of COVID-19 affecting our third year work placements. After my MA degree I plan on getting a job in an architectural firm where I will hopefully gain knowledge needed and the experience to progress further where possibly opening up my own Interior Design and Architectural firm. After this point I would like to work abroad and embrace a different culture and way of adapting to design.
