Further research on Christopher Laing:

Chris Laing, a 29-year-old architectural assistant at Haworth Tompkins, knows of only three fully qualified deaf architects in the UK, and he has one other deaf friend in the profession, Adolfs Kristapsons from Pilbrow & Partners, who is also a part II architectural assistant. Together they are determined to break the cycle of repeatedly making new signs, and have begun a project called Signstrokes to create a British Sign Language (BSL) lexicon for the built environment.

My parents being from the Middle East I found this article from 15 students based in Dubai that are acknowledging a community and designing for that particular community. Similar to what I am currently doing..

Careers Lecture:

This lecture was about self-employment and partnership

In this session Lucy Chick got back to me and told me that Rose - Ayling Ellis replied back! She told Lucy to tell me to get in contact with an architect born in New York called Christopher Laing who will be able to help me further.

Creed III Review:

Creed III was a great movie, not the best one out the three but still a great watch. Whilst re-watching the first and second movie before going to the cinema to watch the third I found it amazing to notice they have put a developing deaf individual - it made everyone acknowledge that deafness is a thing and we should be deaf aware. The great thing about the third movie is that it shows the main characters family (Wife and Child) use sign language as communication as the child is born deaf. The hearing person (main character) had to 'adapt and learn' sign language in order to communicate with the wife and child... it really stood out to me and it made me proud that the world is finally acknowledging the deaf society
